Mrs. Oma Lee Dockery Gray: Obituary

Mrs. Oma Lee Dockery Gray, age 65, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away on October 19, 2014.She was born in Fannin County, GA on December 9, 1948. Mrs. Gray was a loving mother, homemaker and a long time member of the Sunrise Tabernacle. Mrs. Gray was preceded in death by her father, Eddie Dockery and brother, David Dockery.

Survivors include her husband Olin Gray of Blue Ridge, GA; sons, Steve and Jason Gray both of Blue Ridge, GA; daughters, Melissa Thomas of Mineral Bluff, GA, Trish Watkins and Jennifer Breeden both of Blue Ridge, GA; mother, Evelyn Dockery of Blue Ridge, GA; brothers, Jerry Dockery of Blue Ridge, GA, Earl Dockery of Cleveland, TN and Shannon Kinser of Morganton, GA; sisters, Carolyn Rhodes and Earlene Mashburn both of Blue Ridge, GA and Joan McGee of Epworth, GA; twelve grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Edmund Miller and Rev. Johnny Rhodes officiating. Music will be provided by Diane Young and Heather Smith. Interment will follow in the Sunrise Tabernacle Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Chris Merrell, Michael Merrell, Nathan Mashburn, Ryan Welch, Marvin Patterson and Eric Watkins.
