FFA Chapters Attend Area 1 Leadership Rally

25 FFA members from the Fannin County High School FFA Chapter and 6 members from the Fannin County Middle School FFA Chapter attended the Area 1 Leadership Rally on September 4-5 which was held at the FFA Center near Covington Georgia.There were 575 members from area I FFA chapters in attendance. The 2 day event gave the FFA members a chance to meet new people with the same interests as them, learn leadership skills, as well as participate in recreational activities. The FCHS FFA officer team competed in the Opening and Closing Ceremony competition and the chapter was awarded the 6th place chapter in the Chapter of the Year Competition from the 2013-2014 year. Members attending from FCMS were members Andrew Born, Hannah Payne, Shelby Postell, Miriam Foster, Allyson Parks, and Clayton Huff. Members from FCHS FFA Chapter were Seth Davis, Katie Patterson, Alexis Franklin, Shannon Goode, Amber Ellis, Adriana Smith, Jacob VanZandt, Michael Wadlington, Chandler Patton, Dakota Burke, Lakota Towe, Trey Campbell, Cody O’Neal, Cainan Patterson, Zachary Couch, Taylor VanZandt, Jesse Patterson, Daniel Davis, Zachary Nicholson, Emily Whitton, Anthony Venable, Daisy Stepp, Montana Pearson, Asher Patterson, Aaron Walden along with FCMS FFA Advisor Jeff Wilbanks, FCHS FFA Advisor Rhonda Mathews, and chaperone Caleb Patterson.
