“O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, or the son of man that you care for him?” Psalm 8:1,3,4.You are Sovereign, O Lord, in all things. You spoke the universe into being. You put the stars in their places and the planets in their orbits. With your fingers you stretched space to the size you wanted. You made us in your image and prepared the earth for our habitation.

When we look up into the heavens at night and see the lights of the universe, we realize just how small we are. We also realize how important we are to you for no other part of your creation has been offered such a grand plan of redemption as you have made for us. We offer you our deepest praise in Christ.
