The 34th annual downtown Blue Ridge Labor Day Barbecue will be held Monday, Sept. 1, from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. There will be gospel and bluegrass music throughout the day. Guests are welcome to bring lawn chairs and sit in the park. Drive-thru service will be available. Plates are ribs $12, grilled chicken $10 and pork $9.
