Estelle Ellen Loudermilk Gilliam: Obituary

Estelle Ellen Loudermilk Gilliam, age 94, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away Wednesday, Jul 30, 2014 in the Fannin Regional Hospital in Blue Ridge, GA.She was born on February 23, 1920 to the late Lee Washington Loudermilk and Octa Lee Franks Loudermilk. She had worked for a number of years as a paraprofessional for the Fannin County School System. Mrs. Gilliam was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Epworth. Her husband, Mr. Hobert Gilliam; one son, Frank Gilliam; sister, Grace Long; brothers, Edgar, Lake and Wayne Loudermilk precedes her in death.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Gerald and Judy Gilliam of Alpharetta, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Randy Denton; daughter-in-law, Jackie Gilliam; one sister, Imogene Thurman of Cleveland, TN; grandchildren, Gerald L. Gilliam, Jr, Josh Gilliam, Frank Carson Gilliam, Jr. Nicholas Frank Gilliam and Jenna Queen Saxon; great grandchildren, Brody Gilliam, Reece Gilliam, Andrew Gilliam, Ansley Gilliam , and Claire Saxon.

Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, August 1, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. from the Copper Ridge Memory Gardens with Rev. Dr. Tom Jordan and Rev. Stacey Nicholson officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Gerald Lynn Gilliam, Jr., Josh Gerald Gilliam, Frank Carson Gilliam, Nickolas Frank Gilliam, Derek Saxon and Don Thurman.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. For those desiring memorial contributions may be made to the Epworth Baptist Church Bible School Fund at P.O. Box 187 Epworth, GA 30514.
