The Cochran Funeral Home & Crematory of Blairsville announces Funeral Services for Mrs. Mary Jane Weaver, age 91 of Blairsville, who passed away Thursday morning, July 24, 2014 at Union County Nursing Home. She will be warmly remembered by all who knew her, but especially missed by her family: daughter, Mary Jo Loggins of Dahlonega, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Jeri & Joe Andrews of Bethlehem, GA, Ann & Jimmy Spivia of Blairsville, Edith Telford Williams and her husband Jerry of Cleveland, GA and Carolyn & J.L. Tanner of Blairsville; son, Billy J. Weaver of Ft. Worth, TX, William Frank (Bud) Weaver of Blairsville, son & daughter-in-law, John Franklin (Moe) & Gail Weaver of Blairsville; and sister, Cora Lee Carpenter. 19 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 19 great-great grandchildren also share in her legacy. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Weaver; son, Charles Weaver, grandson, Benny Louis Weaver; her parents and 4 siblings.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 27, 2014 from the Chapel of Cochran Funeral Home with Rev. Ray Potts officiating. Special Music will be presented by Melissa Mashburn. Interment will be held in Union Memory Gardens Cemetery. The following gentlemen have been selected to serve as pallbearers: Doug Tanner, Richard Tanner, Brady Tanner, Joe Telford, Billy Andrews, John Weaver & Chuck Fowler. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening from 6 until 9 p.m.
