Mr. Norman VanTassell, Jr., age 54, of Mineral Bluff, GA, passed away Monday, June 23, 2014.Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Roberta VanTassell of the home; children, Sarah Lynn VanTassell of Gainesville, GA and Evan Norman VanTassell of Corinth, NY; parents, Audrey and and Norman VanTassell of Mineral Bluff, GA ; brother and sister-in-law, Lewis and Maryellen VanTassell of Kennesaw, GA; sisters, Cindy Lou Durant and Laurel Lee Colwell, both of Ellijay and many other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, June 28, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. from the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses with Garland Ashe officiating. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.akinsfuneralhome.com. Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge is in charge of arrangements.
