Cochran Funeral Home of Hiawassee announces the death of Mrs. Jeanne Schultz, 88 years old, who died at her home, peacefully, in Young Harris, Georgia, on June 16, 2014.Jeanne lived a long, happy life, loved her family and friends. There was no one she didn’t like and enjoyed every day of her life.
She lived at her home in the Pine Crest subdivision of Towns County. Jeanne said she enjoyed her 23 years in “God’s Country”….. Her family consisted of her loving and devoted husband, Carlo S. Schultz, and they had enjoyed 43 years together. The family also included David E. Easton, her favorite son of Baltimore, Maryland, and two daughters, Gail Shaw, also of Baltimore and Linda Bekier of Montana. Also her only living sibling, a sister, Marlinie McCarthy of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She also enjoyed her 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Jeanne also had numerous nieces and nephews, who live in Canada. Jeanne’s origin of birth was in Leaside, Toronto, Canada, and she was born on January 28, 1926.
A private ceremony will be held in Young Harris. Donations may be made to our local animal shelter in Towns County.
