Boyd Condry Eller : Obituary

Boyd Condry Eller,age 82, of North Charleston, SC, formerly of Cherokee County, NC, passed away Monday, June 9, 2014 at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center in Charleston, SC. Boyd was born August 22, 1931 and was preceded in death by parents, Guy and Ethel Ledford Eller, his wife, Betty Jo Stiles Eller, a brother, Goldman Eller, a sister, Dorothy Hamby and granddaughter Haley Eller. He was a Veteran of the US Army.

Boyd is survived by four sons, Allen Eller, Glen Eller, Scott (Cheri) Eller and Timmy (Sandra) Eller, all of the Charleston, SC area; Grandchildren, Talia, Danielle, Scottie, Crystal, Tori, Tyler and Lacey Eller; brothers, Willie Eller of Turtletown, TN, Guindle (Jeannie) Eller of Acworth, GA; sisters, Susie Loudermilk Ledford of Blairsville, GA, Willa Mae Allen of Murphy, NC, Shelby Jean (David) Avery of Murphy, NC, Shirley (Owen) Hensley of Turtletown, TN, Lorraine (Richard) Kilpatrick of Murphy, NC. Sister-in-law, Helen Eller of Charlotte , NC.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, June 12th at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Richard Morrow officiating. Music will be by Janice Reid. Pallbearers include Dale Allen, Eddie Allen, Rick Kilpatrick, Kevin Kilpatrick, Ronnie Hensley, Scott Eller and Ronnie Ross. Interment will follow in the Liberty cemetery with full military honors conducted by the North Georgia Honor Guard. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at 2:00 p.m. Condolences to the family may be sent to www.akinsfuneralhome.com.
