Mrs. Alice Lynn McFarland, age 72 of Blue Ridge, passed away June 5, 2014 at her home. McFarland was born August 28, 1941 in Blue Ridge, GA to the late Frank Conley and the late Lola Mason Conley. She was Baptist in faith and she liked reading in her spare time.

Survivors include loving husband, Thomas L. McFarland, Sr., daughter, Donna Renee (James) Wehunt, daughter, Lisa Rhonda (Ron) Stay, son, Thomas L. (Julie) McFarland Jr., sister, Shirley Ward, sister, Sue Gibby, 5 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 8, 2014 at 11:00 am at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenneth Mann and Rev. Harold Weeks officiating. Music provided by Rodney Panter Family Singers and Marilyn Thomas. Interment will follow in the Copper Ridge Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers include Buford Gibby, Allen Ward, Rodney Gibby, Mark Ward, Junior White and Don McFarland.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Saturday, June 7, 2014 from 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm.
