Mr. Aundis Spence Harris, Sr., age 87 of Norcross, GA passed away on Monday, June 2, 2014, at Peachtree Christian Hospice in Duluth, GA.He was born on Monday, October 11, 1926, to the late George Franklin and Mime Smith Harris. Mr. Harris was a salesman of dry goods and notions. He was a member of Sunrise Baptist Church in Lawrenceville, GA.
Survivors are his wife Ruth Jones Harris of the home; son, A. Spence Harris, Jr. of Corryton, TN; daughter, Cherie Wasous of Squim, WA; brother, Wendell Harris of Etowah, TN; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with the Rev. Freddy Maney, Rev. Carroll Weaver and Dr. David Poe officiating. Music will be by Andy and Tammy Ware. Interment will follow in the Swanson Cemetery.
