Former Fannin County High School Rebels baseball star, Nick Dean, dominated the USA South Athletic Conference for the Maryville Scots earning Player of the year honors.The Maryville monster from Mineral Bluff led the league lead in batting average (.401) and slugging percentage (.563,) as well as held a second and third place ranking in hits (57) and total bases (80) respectively. Dean also had the fourth highest on base percentage with 464.
Dean also was tops in conference play batting average (.430), slugging percentage (.600), hits (43) and total bases (60).
