Allen Clifford Lewis : Obituary

Mr. Clifford Allen Lewis, age 83, of Copperhill, TN, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2014.Mr. Lewis was born in Mineral Bluff, Georgia and was a son of the late Allen Darrell and Sarah Jane Hawkins Lewis. He moved back to the local area about twenty five years ago after retiring from the U S Steel Corporation where he worked as a Motor Inspector for thirty years. He loved the outdoors and among his hobbies he enjoyed working in his yard and was an avid gun and knife collector.

He is survived by his loving wife of fifty six years, Virginia Talley “Jenna” Lewis of the home; daughters Kathy (Walter) Godby of Portage, IN, Gina Reno of AZ, Brenda (Richard) Koonce of Valparaiso, IN, Charlotte Martz of Orlando, FL. Multiple and wonderful grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, April 26, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. A private service will be held later with interment following in the Copper Ridge Memory Gardens.
