Mr. Charles Guinn Smith, Jr, age 62, of Turtletown, TN passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2014.Mr. Smith was a Systems Analyst with the GA Department of Transportation. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Smith, Sr.
He is survived by daughter, Gwen (Kerry) Dills of Mineral Bluff, GA; his mother, Charlene Herndon of Ducktown, TN; brothers, Jeff Smith of Turtletown, TN, Andy Smith of Chatsworth, GA; sister, Amy Allen of Calhoun, GA; four grandchildren, Matthew and (Kandy) Smith, Jessica and (Lamar) Peardon, Jennifer Dills and Andrew Dills; great grandchildren, Kimzey and Kaden Peardon, Sadie Smith and Destiny Cheathem.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, April 18th at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Stephen Smith officiating. Music will be by Janice Reid. Interment will follow in the Bear Paw Baptist Church cemetery.
