“Theater Around the World” is this year’s theme for the 2014 Sunny D Children’s Theater Drama and Musical Theater Camps will be held June 9 through 22nd in Blue Ridge, GA under the direction of Executive Director, Patricia Webb. Now in its 13th consecutive year of operation. The camp offers a choice of two day camp experiences, Drama Camp or Musical Theater Camp, held at two convenient locations: the Kiwanis Fairgrounds Building & the Blue Ridge Community Theater. Packed full of fun activities, theater games and arts and crafts both camps encourage cooperative work, and nurture self-confidence. Drama Camp (9:00 am – 2:00 PM) has an emphasis on theater technique and performance for children and youth, ages 5 to 18 with any level of experience.

Musical Theater Camp (9:00 am – 4:00 PM) is for students ages 10 -18 with experience in voice and dance. Youth are trained in Solo and Chorus Song, Dance and Drama by professional instructors who have appeared on Broadway and throughout the country.

Drama Camp Tuition is $200.00. Musical Theater Camp Tuition is $250.00.

“We expect to have 100 students enrolled for camp this year, therefore enrollment is limited and on a first come first served basis. And we provide scholarships for those students who need financial assistance,”

stated Patricia Webb. Deadline for enrollment is May 1.
