Fannin Youth Wrestling Update

Wrestlers from the Fannin County USA wrestling program competed this past weekend winning six medals at North Hall High School and North Forsyth High School.Colton Mathais, Blake Summers, Gabe Summers, and Malachy Johnston all won gold medals at North Forsyth. Carson Callihan won a silver at NF. Ben Collins procured a bronze medal at North Hall.

Other wrestlers that competed this weekend are: Carson Collis, Taylor Colis, Hunter Blevins, Landon Galloway, Justin Wheat, Michael Lewis, Colton Mathis, and Dawson King.

The future Fannin Rebels will compete this weekend, Saturday February 8th in an open tournament at Gilmer High School, and will conclude the reagular season with the State Qualifier Tournament at GHS on Saturday February 22nd.

Those wrestlers who place in the state qualifier will move on to the USA State Tournament held at the Ga. Dome on Saturday March 1st.
