James Richard Panter, age 50 of Copperhill, TN passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2014, at the Copper Basin Medical Center in Copperhill, TN. He was born on Friday, June 14, 1963, to the late Wayne and Bonnie Deal Panter. James had been employed by Home Construction building concrete foundations. He was of the Baptist Faith. James was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Diane Panter.
Survivors include, former wife and always a friend, Kelly Panter of Copperhill, TN; son, Kacy James Panter of Copperhill, TN; brother, Mickey Panter of Kansas City, KS; sister, Margaret Yeager of Saint Charles, LA; step-daughter, Jolene Foss of Copperhill, TN and grandson, Malachi Foss of Copperhill, TN also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with the Rev. Roger Hyatt officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral on Tuesday, January 28, 2014, after 2:00 p.m. but especially from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.akinsfuneralhome.com.
