Vivien Esther Locke : Obituary

Mrs. Vivien Esther Locke, age 81, of Copperhill, TN passed away Thursday, January 23, 2014.Mrs. Locke was a homemaker and mother and was a member of the Mt. View Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by parents, Charlie and Minnie Mae Dalton Hedden; daughter, Mrs. Wanda Waters, son-in-law, Willard Waters, nephew, Doug Waters and six brothers.

She is survived by her husband, Marion Locke of the home; daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley (George) Waters of Copperhill, TN, Barbara (J.B.) Mull of Cleveland, TN, Esther (Terry) Satterfield of Reliance, TN. Eight grandchildren; Fourteen great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, January 25th at 5:00 p.m. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Ray Harper officiating. Music will be by the Kenny O’Neal Family. Pallbearers include, Frankie Barker, Johnny Barker, Gene Barker, Scott Barker, Jeff Barker, Tommy Payne and Charles Payne. Interment and graveside services will follow Sunday, January 26th at 2:00 p.m. from the Grassy Creek cemetery with Rev. Ray Harper officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 3:00 p.m. until the funeral hour of 5:00 p.m.
