Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville announces funeral services for Mr. Vernon Chambers, age 90, of Blairsville, who passed away in the early morning of Friday, January 24, 2014 in Chatuge Regional Nursing Home in Hiawassee.Funeral services for Mr. Chambers have been scheduled for Sunday, January 26, 2014, at 2:00 p.m., in the Chapel of Cochran Funeral Home. Burial will be in Ivy Log Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Cochran Funeral Home in Blairsville, on Saturday, January 25, 2014, with the family especially meeting with friends between the hours of 5 until 8 p.m.
