Mom of Dead Child and Boyfriend: On the Run

FYN has learned that the Mother of the child that died while in foster care and her boyfriend, Daniel Peak, are fleeing from Polk County law enforcement. Multiple sources have contacted FYN informing us that the boyfriend of Jennifer Palmer is wanted for a probation violation in Georgia for crossing state lines.

According to one source, the arresting officer felt sympathy for the couple due to the current situation with Saharah Weatherspoon and agreed to return in approximately five minutes to allow Peak time to gather his personal belongings and tell everyone goodbye. Upon returning to arrest Peak, he discovered that Peak and Palmer had fled. He told Palmer’s sister that if she didn’t turn Peak in by the end of the day that he would file warrants for Palmer for multiple offenses including driving without a license and harboring a fugitive.
