Silvia Socorro Goforth, age 52 of Farner, TN passed away on December 7, 2013, at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN. She was born September 24, 1961 in Laboquilla, Mexico. There are not enough words in the dictionary to describe Silvia Goforth, but if one must, you could say that she was a very giving woman. She was tender, yet fiesty. She was someone you could confide in. She would always share others burdens and you couldn’t ask for a more trustworthy woman. Silvia loved to spend time with her grandchildren; Trent and Jessie. They were her heartbeat. She has touched the hearts of all of her family and friends. She will always be loved and missed, but never forgotten.
She is survived by her husband of thirty years, Eddie Goforth of Farner, TN: son, Joshua Goforth of Ellenton, FL; daughter and son-in-law, Wendy Goforth and Joey Baliles of Farner, TN and two grandchildren, Trent and Jessie Baliles.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. from the New Hope Holiness Church with Brother Ronnie Goforth officiating.
The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the memorial service at 11:00 a.m.
