Ronald Sidney Miller, age 75, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at his home.Mr. Miller was born on September 27, 1938 in Picayune, Mississippi to the late Quincey Miller and Fayelda Williams Miller. He was a graduate of Murphy High School in Atlanta, GA. He retired as manager with Saab at Troncalli Motors in Decatur, GA. He was a member of Blue Ridge United Methodist Church, a member of the Men’s Group at Blue Ridge UMC, a member of Kiwanis, and was a Mason. Mr. Miller loved camping, trout fishing, and traveling the back roads. He was preceded in death by a brother, Roger Miller.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Miller of Blue Ridge; children, Wendi (Charles) Hood of Blue Ridge, Karin (Mike) Arnold of Loganville, GA, Karla (Al) Tham of Stockbridge, GA and Keith Miller of Morrow, GA; grandchildren, Morgan Weigle, Dylan Weigle, Jacob Hood, Jase Hood, April Arnold, Amy Bowen, Alex Arnold, Amanda Taylor, and Christie Carey; and 7 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Jonathan Hood and Rev. Bob Morgan officiating. Pallbearers will be Patrick Cooke, Gordon Riddoch, Gary Gray, Sam Pixton, Eddie Ayers, and Joel Jordan. Member of the Blue Ridge Kiwanis Club will serve as honorary pallbearers. Interment will follow in Chastain Memorial Park. Donations in memory of Mr. Miller may be made to United Hospice 6050 Appalachian Hwy., Blue Ridge, GA 30513.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 6:00-9:00 p.m.
