Fannin’s Halloween Field Trip

What do trick-or-treating preschoolers and college-bound students have in common? They both were able to experience something new on Halloween this year. Mountain Education Charter High School students visited Lanier Technical College and North Georgia College and University at the Gainesville campus on a field trip October 31. They toured the campuses and were able to view the medical and dental hygiene training labs, welding and auto facilities, cosmetology, and drafting classroom at Lanier Tech. They then had lunch at the Gainesville student union while watching a presentation about the college. They especially enjoyed the Motorsports Vehicle program at Lanier Tech and were even able to sit in some of the race cars on their visit.
