Our Fannin County CERT Team just finished a class of 15 new members which consisted of 20 hours of classroom and hands on training. The course finished up with a practical exercise on Saturday near Fire Station 13 that included searching for victims, treatment and triage, and other skills learned during the course.

With this new class finishing up, we have a total CERT membership of 101 volunteers. Another class is planned for either this winter or early spring.
