Claudine King : Obituary

Mrs. Claudine King, age 69 of Morganton, passed away Monday, October 21, 2013 at home.She was born January 3, 1944 in Blairsville, GA to the late Norman Allen Teague and the late Edna O’Dell Harkins Teague. A member of member Philadelphia Baptist Church, Morganton Order Of Eastern Star, Foster Parent and president of Foster Parent Association She enjoyed cooking and camping at Coopers Creek, she was preceded in death by sister, Mary Harkins and Brother, Ray Teague.

Survivors include: husband, Charles Leon King, son, Allen (Tina) King, daughter, Victoria King Welborn, daughter, Armanda (Dottie) King, son, Herbert (Joyce) Keller, sister, Betty Jo King, Brother, Larry Teague, sister, Sherry Gibbs, granddaughter, Gracie King, granddaughter, Tori Welborn, granddaughter, Morgan Welborn, granddaughter, Nina Keller, grandson, Lee Keller, grandson, Adam Keller, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services: Thursday, October 24, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Grady Ray and Rev. Phill Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Wednesday, October 23, 2013 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm.
