Fall Arts Festival a Success

The Blue Ridge Mountain Arts Association held its first annual fall Arts in the Park this year. The event is known for taking place during the spring each year but this year, they added a fall event, which was a success, especially considering it was the first year.Spectators traveled from all over to view the spectacular variety of arts and goods. Some of the items at the festival included wood carvings, photography prints, wind chimes, jewelry, bird houses, dog accessories, yard ornaments, pottery, canvas prints, infant hats, body lotions, bath accessories, scarves, metal sculptures, stained glass, handmade puzzles, jewelry boxes and much more!

Food vendors weren’t as prominent as they were this spring but BBQ, kettle corn, ice cream and a few others were available.

License plates were spotted being located as far a Missouri, Mississippi, Tennessee, Alabama, Florida and the Carolinas.

Without a doubt, the event was a success and provided lots of fun and entertainment for children young and old.
