Fannin County Middle School 8th grade teams have announced Students of the Month for September. Students are chosen by their academic teachers for this distinction. Qualifications for this honor include outstanding citizenship, good attendance, respectfulness toward faculty and peers, and a good academic standing.

Students chosen for September are: Morgan Patton (Team 8A), daughter of Randy & Melissa Patton of Blue Ridge; Dylan Holloway (Team 8A), son of Mike & Angela Holloway of Mineral Bluff; Magalie Dean (Team 8B), daughter of Nelson & Carmen Dean of Mineral Bluff; and Tanner Blevins (Team 8B), son of Lisa Rogers of Blue Ridge and Thomas Blevins of Robbinsville, NC.
