Mr. Gary Ralph Loudermilk, age 63, of Acworth, GA passed away on September 20, 2013 at his home.Born in Ducktown, TN he was the son of the late Clay and Helen Kirkpatrick Loudermilk. He was retired from Ford Motor Company in Hapeville, GA. Mr. Loudermilk was also a member of the Acworth Lodge #176 F&AM.

Survivors include his wife of forty three years, Brenda Hawkins Loudermilk of Acworth, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Mike Meeks of Woodstock, GA; sister, Laura and husband Darryl Laney of Murphy, NC; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday September 23, at 1:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Millie Kim officiating. A Eulogy will be given by Samuel Cubbage. Music will be provided by Vaughn Loudermilk accompanied by Russell O’Neal. The following gentlemen have been selected to serve as pallbearers: Russ Loudermilk, Bruce Loudermilk, John McMahan, Ralph Hawkins, Grayson Derryberry and Dale Carver. The following have been selected to serve as Honorary Pallbearers: Ann Pekarek, Kris Withershime, Sherry Howell, James Arp, Larry Cheek, Mitchell Loudermilk, Mark Loudermilk and Billy Joe Barnes. Interment will follow in the Crestlawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour of 1:00 p.m. For those desiring memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
