Freddy Cook, Jr. age 29, of Blue Ridge, Georgia, passed away September 18, 2013 at his home.Freddy was born August 26, 1984 in Blue Ridge, GA to Freddy Cook Sr. and Janet Key Cook . Freddy was a avid golf player, winning the Copper Basin Golf Club championship nine times, and a huge TN Vols fan. Freddy or “Little Freddy” as many called him was loved by his family, friends and the community. He will be missed by many.

Preceded in death his grandparents, C.B. and Peggy Key, and Grady “Catfish” Cook.

Survivors include: father, Freddy Cook Sr., mother, Janet Key Cook, daughter, Annabelle Leyla Cook, sister & brother-in-law, Amanda Jonathan Herendon, and sister & brother-in-law & Tricia & Matthew, Deal, nephew, Nathaniel Deal, and niece, Kayla Herendon, grandmother, Grace Olvey.

Funeral services: Sunday, September 22, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Collis, and Rev. John Davis officiating. Eulogy will be given by Mr. Roy Tipton. Serving as pallbearers: Coach Greg Chambers, Jeffery Petty, Chip Stewart, Bert Nelson, Bart Nelson, and Brian Nix. Honorary pallbearers will be David Atkinson, Brett Curtis, Colby Panter, Lawrence Lannie, Jonathan Herendon, Matthew Deal, and Hunter Bruce. Interment will follow in the Cook Family Cemetery.

Visitation with family and friends will be Saturday Evening, September 21, 2013 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
