Kick-off for Success

Rebel's Corner

Fannin Mountain Education Charter High School had its Junior/Senior “Kick-off to Graduation” on Wednesday, September 4th.In addition to telling students about the dual enrollment opportunities at our local colleges, MEC used a football theme to encourage students to attend regularly, work hard on their classes, and go for the goal – a high school diploma! Mountain Education Charter High School allows students who have opted to drop out of high school for a variety of reasons to work toward their diploma. The school is housed in Fannin Middle School and is open from 4 – 8 pm Monday through Thursday. Students are able to work individually on their required classes with the support and guidance of caring teachers, administrators, and support staff. It is a wonderful opportunity for all students of any age to get their high school diploma and plan for college or a career. All students are especially invited to enroll during our open enrollment from September 10th to September 30th. There will be special incentives offered as we build our FTE enrollment ensuring our funding for the school year. More information about Mountain Education, please call any time after 4 pm Monday through Thursday 706-632-6100.
