Mr. Edward William Key, age 96, of Blue Ridge, GA, passed away September 9, 2013 at the Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, TN.Mr. Key was born April 21, 1917 in Fannin County, GA to the late James Blaine Key and the late Lila Witzell Key. Edward was a member of the Epworth United Methodist Church. He was employed by the Tennessee Copper Company, working in the mines as a motorman for many years.

Edward was preceded in death by his wife, Stella Arlene Key, his parents, sisters, Jewell Elliott, and Lila Witzell.

Survivors include: daughter & son-in-law, Betty & N.B. Gwinn, Jr.of Blue Ridge, GA, son & daughter-in-law, Charles and Mary La Donna Key of McCaysville, GA, four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services: September, 2013 at 3:00 pm at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jennings Neeld and Rev. Rhens officiating. Music will be provided by Steve Grubbs. Serving as pallbearers: Jimmy Davenport, Larry Davenport, Jerry Davenport, Jeffery Davenport, Donnie Davenport, and Randy Roberts. Interment will be in the Copper Ridge Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the Finch-Funeral Home on Thursday, September 12, 2013 from 1:00 pm until time for service at 3:00 pm.
