Mr. James Eddie “Pete” Chapman, age 49, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away Sunday, September 8, 2013 in the Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN.Mr. Chapman was born in Gilmer County, GA on January 15, 1964. He was a member of O’Zion Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his mother, Florence W. Chapman.

He is survived by his wife, Missy Chapman of Blue Ridge; sons, Jesse Chapman, Joshua Chapman, and Matthew Chapman, all of Blue Ridge; brother, David Chapman of Blue Ridge; sister, Connie Chapman of Blue Ridge.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapman Family Cemetery with Rev. Leonard Hunter officiating. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.akinsfuneralhome.com. Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge is in charge of arrangements.
