FCHS to Host Ninth Grade Parent Night
Rebel's Corner September 6, 2013
In an effort to increase parent awareness of the expectations and curriculum for freshmen at Fannin County High School, “Ninth Grade Parent Night” will be held on Tuesday, September 17, at 6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria. Freshmen students have almost completed their first five weeks of high school. It is very important for parents to be involved and monitor the foundation their students are building in his/her freshman year so all parents are invited to attend this informative workshop. The format for parents will be to rotate through three 20 minute sessions: (1) Math Strategies and SACCS Parent Survey; (2) How to be Successful in High School; and (3) Pathways and Graduation Requirements. Along with the mini-workshops there will be a time for parents to ask questions.
Parent involvement is vital in the education process. Please plan to attend Ninth Grade Parent Night on Sept, 17 at 6:30 pm. in the FCHS Cafeteria.
If you have any questions, please contact the guidance department at the school at (706) 632-2081.
