Eula Helton : Obituary

Eula Mae Helton, age 90 of Canton, formerly of the Wolf Creek Community, passed away Saturday, August 3, 2013 at home. Mrs. Helton was born May 11, 1923 in Copperhill, TN to the late George Oscar Simonds and the late Pearl E. Amburn Simonds. She was a member of Macedonia (Wolf Creek) Baptist Church, she enjoyed spending time with her great grandchildren, gardening, cooking, reading her bible and Atlanta Braves Baseball.
She was preceded in death by husband, Charles Glen Helton, son, Charles Douglas Helton, daughter, Rita Louise Norwood, sister, Maude Lorene Simonds, Brothers, Winford Simonds and Clarence Simonds.

Survivors include: grandson, Scott (Rebecca) Helton, grandson, Christopher Lynn (Coral) Norwood, sister, Frances Louise (George) Brown, great grandchildren, Timothy Scott Helton, Gracie Helton, Calliope Feonia Norwood, David R. Brooks and Jim Helton.

Graveside services: Monday, August 5, 2013 at 1:00 pm from Macedonia Baptist (Wolf Creek) Church Cemetery. Pallbearers: Scott Helton, Timothy Scott Helton, Butch Norwood, David R. Brooks and Jim Helton.

The family will receive friends at the Macedonia (Wolf Creek) Baptist Church Cemetery Monday, August 05, 2013 11:00 am – 1:00PM.
