Mrs. Arlene D. Key, age 91, of Blue Ridge, passed away July 12, 2013 at Clare Bridge Assisted Living Facility, in Cleveland, TN.Mrs.Key was born April 5, 1922 in Fannin County, GA to the late Charles Homer Davenport and the late Ollie Patterson Davenport She was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church and UMW. She enjoyed yard work and sewing and embroidering.
She was preceded in death by brother, Edwin Davenport; sisters, Inez Jones, Floy Jean George, Lillian Postell and Madelyn Jones.
Survivors include: her husband, Edward W. Key; daughter & husband, Betty (N.B.) Gwynn; son & daughter-in-law, Charles (La Donna) Key; brother, James Davenport; sisters, Marie Kenemer and Faye White; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services: Sunday, July 14, 2013 at 3:00 PM at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev.Jennings Neeld and Rev. Bryon Ahers officiating. Interment will follow in Copper Ridge Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers: Jimmy Davenport, Larry Davenport, Jerry Davenport, Jeffery Davenport, Donnie Davenport and Randy Roberts.
The family will visit with family and friends at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home of McCaysville, Sunday, July 14, 2013 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm.
