Charles E. Patterson : Obituary

Charles E. “Chuck” Patterson, age 62, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at his home. Mr. Patterson was born on April 3, 1951 in Copperhill, TN to the late Edd Amos Patterson and Virginia Louise Colwell Patterson. He worked as an auto mechanic and was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Nancy Patterson of Blue Ridge, GA; children and spouses, Tabitha Whitaker and Mark Burger, Tiffany and Anthony Stanley, and Lacy and Justin Sisson, all of Blue Ridge; brother and sister-in-law, Raland “Pat” and Ann Patterson of Blue Ridge; sisters and brothers-in-law, Paulette and Johnny McKinney of Loganville, GA and Patsy and Spence Farley of TN; grandson, Lucas Whitaker; and granddaughter, Parker Stanley.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 1:00 pm. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Delmar Davenport officiating. Eulogy will be given by Tabitha Whitaker. Music will be by The Farmer Family. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

Donations in memory of Mr. Patterson may be made to help defray final expenses. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.akinsfuneralhome.com.
