Bertha Mae Nari : Obituary

Mrs. Bertha Mae Nari, age 82, of McCaysville, GA passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2013 in the Heritage Health Care Center in Blue Ridge, GA. Mrs. Nari was born on August 30, 1930 in Union County, GA to the late Gordon R. Golden and Laura V. Abernathy Golden. She was a life-long member of Kingtown Baptist Church where she was very active in her younger years with Vacation Bible School, GA’s and Sunday School. She was preceded in death by her husband Leonard Nari.

She is survived by children and spouses, Sherry and Jim Hood of Blue Ridge, Rick and Kathy Nari of Mineral Bluff, Dana Webb of McCaysville, and Dawn and Matthew Ware of Canton, GA; sister, Ann Brewer of Blairsville; sister-in-laws, Anna Lee Stepp of Blue Ridge, and Elaine Golden of Blue Ridge; brother-in-law Tommy Ware of McCaysville; grandchildren, Shawn Hood, Josh Hood, April Nari, Daniel Swanson, Michelle Hedden, Scott Webb, Samuel Webb, Daniel Webb, Aaron Ware, and Isaac Ware; and great grandchildren, Nicholas Hood, Will Hood, Christopher Malone, Nathan Malone, Whitney Hedden, Hayley Hedden, Emilee Corn, Abigail Swanson, and Lily Swanson and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted Saturday June 29, at 11:00 a.m. from the Kingtown Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Matthew McDaniel officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6-8 p.m.
