Mr. Craig E. Lisk, age 24, of Blue Ridge, GA formerly of Brooksville, FL passed away on Thursday June 13, 2013.He attended Central High School in Brooksville until he moved to the Copper Basin area and graduated from Copper Basin High School in 2007. Mr. Lisk was employed by Akins Funeral Home where he was currently serving his apprenticeship to become a Funeral Director and Embalmer. Craig was a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary and was an active member of the Swift Water Rescue for Polk County, TN. Craig was a loving husband, father, brother and friend to so many.
Survivors include his wife, Ryan Lisk; daughter, LeAnn Trinity Lisk both of the home; mother and step-father, Carolyn and William Bell of Copperhill, TN; two brothers, Heath Lisk of Copperhill, TN and Joshua Hoefgen of TX; step-mother, Jolene Hicks and husband David of Brooksville, FL; several grandparents, aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins, in-laws and a host of other relatives and friends survive.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday June 15, at 7:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with the Dr. Tom Jordan officiating. Music will be provided by Jonathan Hall. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. until the funeral hour.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be the staff of Akins Funeral Home. A service will follow in Brooksville, FL on Saturday June 22, at 11:00 a.m. from the Merritt Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the Merritt Funeral Home on Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. Interment will be in the Lake Lindsey Cemetery in Brooksville, FL with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Heath Lisk, Justin Brand, Dalton Wolf, Cody Samson, Roger Lisk, Jr., Paul Lisk, Traves Osborne, Shannon Brass and Tommy Nelson.
