Fannin County EMS took possession of a new 2013 Chevrolet Ambulance last week and hopes to have it in service by June18th. The new truck will replace the older ambulance at Station 1 in Blue Ridge which will then be used as a back-up ambulance.

Dispatched to Hwy 515 between Loving and Forgemill Rd. for the report of a two possible three car motor vehicle accident, with injuries and entrapment. Medic 11 arrived on scene to find a three car MVA. Two patients had to be extricated and both were transported to Fannin Regional Hospital. Med 11, Rescue 2 and 8 personnel responded.
