Al Maund : Obituary

Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville announces memorial services for Mr. Al Maund, age 69, of Blairsville, who passed away Sunday, May 26, 2013, at his home.

Mr. Maund was born in Newark, New Jersey, on January 24, 1944, a son of the late Albert Maund and the late Grace Crawford. He had lived in Blairsville since 2010, moving here from Palmetto, Florida. Al was an avid fisherman and loved being on the water – he enjoyed playing cards, too. Al and his wife Mary were partners and drove a truck together. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Phil Maund.

Al leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving family members: wife, Mary Maund, of Blairsville; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Joanie Maund, of Parrish, Florida; son, Stephen Maund, of Long Beach, California; son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Mary Maund, of Riverview, Florida; daughter and son-in-law, Alison and Keith Dean, of Gilbert, Arizona; daughter, Tracey Maund, and son, Al Maund; brother, David Maund, of Erie, Pennsylvania; cousins, Ruth Maund and Barbara Robles, both of Ranger, North Carolina; seven grandchildren: Cori, Dani, Vanessa, Katie, Joel, Eli, and Vicki. Many other relatives and friends also survive.

Memorial services for Mr. Maund have been scheduled for Saturday, June 22, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville.
