Mr. Brian Garnet Byers, age 41, of Runge, TX passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2013. Brian was born Sunday, August 29, 1971 in Marietta, GA. He was employed by Willard’s Pipeline Construction. Brian was an United States Army Veteran of the Iraq War. He was a member of Salem # 1 (Sugar Hill) Baptist Church. Brian was preceded in death by a sister, Angela Shawn Byers and uncles, John, Ron and Joe Brawley.
Survivors are his mother, Pearl Brawley Byers of Suches, GA; father, Garnet Byers of Blairsville, GA; grandmother, Viola Brawley and uncles, Eldon Brawley, Doyle (Jerry Ann) Brawley of Paragon, IN and Wendall (Ginny) Brawley of Paragon, IN.
A graveside service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at the Brawley Cemetery with full Military Honors by the North Georgia Honor Guard. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.akinsfuneralhome.com. Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge is in charge of the arrangements.
