Mrs. Ruby Adaline Cantrell Davis, age 83 of Mineral Bluff, GA, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2013 at her home.Mrs. Davis was born June 23, 1929 in Fannin County, GA to the late Virgil David and Roxie Davenport Foster. She was a homemaker and a member of Hipps Chapel Methodist Church.
Survivors are husband, Warren Davis of Mineral Bluff, GA; sons, William Cantrell of Ellijay, GA and Tommy Cantrell of McCaysville, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Clara and H.L. Harris of Mineral Bluff, GA; sister, Mattie Garland of Blue Ridge, GA; nine grandchildren, Terry Harris, Jamie Cantrell, Jodie Cantrell, Barry Harris, Missie Cantrell, Stevie Cantrell, April Grizzell, Amanda Bryan and Jessie Cantrell; several great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral service will be conducted on Sunday, April 21, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Delmar Davenport and Rev. George Dyer officiating. Music will be by Hipps Chapel Methodist Church Choir. Interment will follow in Scrouge Town Cemetery in Ellijay, GA.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until the funeral hour of 4:00 p.m.
