Madeline Quintrell, age 94 of Athens, passed away April 18, 2013 at Blue Ridge Health Care.Mrs. Quintrell was born September 18, 1918 in GA to the late Robert Lee Farmer and the late Augusta Robinson . She was a member of the Epworth First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by father Robert Lee Farmer, mother Augusta Farmer, husband Joe Quintrell and sister Pauline Anderson.

Survivors include daughter, Louise Buttler, nephew & wife, Lowell & Diane Anderson, four grandchildren, Scott Buttler, Edward Buttler, Thomas Buttler, Janet & Joey Conglose; seven great grandchildren, Cadace Conglose, Stephanie Buttler, Rebecca Buttler, Ashley Buttler, Cameron Conglose, Daniel Buttler, Zachry Buttler, and Adam Applewhite; one great great granddaughter, Emma Applewhite.

Funeral services: Sunday, April 21, 2013 at 3:00 pm at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home with the Dr. Tom Jordan, officiating. Music provided by:Rev. Doug Simonds. Interment will follow in the Chastain Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers: Tim Mercer, Don Hall, David Lillard, Larry Lance, and Ronnie Kimsey.

The family will receive friends at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home of McCaysville, Sunday, April 21, 2013, from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm.
