Mrs. Lorene Eva Queen Cearley, age 86 of McCaysville, GA passed away on April 12, 2013 at Union General Hospital in Blairsville, GA.Mrs. Cearley was born in Fannin County, GA on April 3, 1927 to the late Elmer and Addy Queen. She was a homemaker and a member of New River Baptist Church. Mrs. Cearley was preceded in death by her husband, Randall Cearley; brothers, Arthur, James and T.J Queen and two sisters, Pauline Green and Christine Thomas.
She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Steve Randall and Judy Cearley of Benton, TN; daughters and sons-in-law, Joan Webb of Cleveland, TN, Judy and Charles Payne of McCaysville, GA, Debbie and Scott Davis of Cleveland, TN and Janice and Joe Bailey of Cleveland, TN; brother and sister-in-law, Leon and Judy Queen of Isabella, TN; sister, Maxine Lee of Ellijay, GA; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, April 15, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Ricky Hicks officiating. Pallbearers will be Jason Harris, Jeromy Harris, Josh Milton, Buddy Clark and Derrick Kent. Interment will follow in Kingtown Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, April 14, 2013 after 5:00 p.m.
