Cody Falls pitched a complete game with four strike outs. After the game head coach, David Dyer, spoke about his young team and handling the season.
“Tonight we came in our goal was to start early, try to get good pitching; Cody Falls threw all seven tonight. I think he only gave up three or two earned runs out of the four he gave up. I thought he did a great job on the mound and that’s been our problem. We’ve got a young pitching staff and we’ve been walking to many and getting behind early; and I think tonight was big for our kids to come out and see they can compete.”
