The Fannin County High School Senior Division Wildlife Management Career Development Event Team placed 3rd out of 23 teams in the area 1 competition which was held at Murray County High School on Feb 11th. The team will advance to the state competition which will be held on March 23 at the University of Georgia in Athens. Individual events included general wildlife ID where Daniel Shields placed 2nd, Game Bird Biology –Ashlyn Mize placed 5th, Whitetail Deer Management- Lucas Ryan placed 8th , and Aquatic Management- Lazaro Sanchez placed 8th.

Taylor VanZandt and Lakota Towe competed in the Junior division as a training competition.
