Rachel Eve Roper : Obituary

Rachel Eve Roper, age 51, of Mineral Bluff, GA, passed away on Friday, February 1, 2013 at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, GA.She was born on October 30, 1961 in Mineral Bluff, GA to the late William Roper and Edith Bell Smith Wilson. She worked at Roses as a customer service representative. She was a member of the Church of God faith.

She is survived by a brother, Adam Iverson Roper of Talking Rock, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Mark Alaimo of Blue Ridge, GA; aunts, Alma Brown, Doris Ramsey and Wylene Cassidy; uncle, J.B. Smith; nieces, Tracy (Billy) Hyde and Michelle (Tim) Lents; great nieces and great nephews, Bretton Deal, Bryce Deal, Macy Deal, Tyler Lents and Taylor Lents; host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Elder James English officiating. Music will be by Robert Buchanan. Pallbearers will be Billy Hyde, Bryce Deal, Tim Lents, Jerry Roper, Leonard Roper and Kurk Conklin. Interment will follow in the Jones Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
