Mr. Robert Junior Satterfield, age 76, of McCaysville, GA passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at his home.Mr. Satterfield was born on March 15, 1936. His wife of 43 years, Theresa, died on July 4, 2006. His son Michael aslo died before him (about 20 years ago).

He is survived by son, Duane of Evergreen, CO with daughter-in-law Christine and a grandson, Liam. He is also survived by brothers Tommy Satterfield and Earl Satterfield as well as sisters, Vivian and Teresa Nicholson.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Keith Smith officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 12 noon until the service hour.
