Buddy Stiles : Obituary

Buddy Stiles, age 80, of Blue Ridge, GA, formerly of Turtletown, passed away Saturday, December 22, 2012. Buddy was a native of the Copper Basin area and was a son of the late Clint and Mary Smith Stiles. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Swanson Stiles.

He is survived by children, Virgil (Melinda) Stiles of Chatsworth, GA, Brenda (Allen) Thurman of Blue Ridge, GA; siblings, Charlie Stiles, Jim Stiles and Ellie Barber all of Turtletown, TN, Willene Neighbors and Louise Payne of Cumming, GA; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, December 23rd at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Miller officiating. Pallbearers include, David, Grant, Paul, Ryan and James Stillwell and Johnny Smith. Interment will follow in the Croft’s Chapel United Methodist Church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour at 2:00 p.m.
