Mr. Bobby Wayne Rhodes, age 78 of Mineral Bluff, passed away November 7, 2012 at his residence.Mr. Rhodes a US Air Force veteran was born June 20, 1934 in Sweet Gum, GA to Harley and Jessie Clark Rhodes. A member of Hot House Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Joe Rhodes, sister, Dorothy Abercrombie, sister, Edith Bailey.
Survivors include: brother, Charles Winston (Pon) Rhodes, sister, Carol (Jimmy) Davis, brother in law, Wade Bailey, many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 11:00 am at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Cheatham officiating. Interment will follow in Chastain Memorial Park with military honors by the Georgia National Guard. Pallbearers are Ronnie Abercrombie, Gary Abercrombie, Bryan Davis, Clark Bailey, Andy Rhodes, & Darvin Couch.
The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Friday, November 09, 2012 from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm.
